We are one of the longest serving, experienced, dynamic, robust and solutions-oriented real estate firms in Jamaica. Mr. Shaw, is a recognized Business Development professional with over 30 years of experience specializing in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME), strategic and corporate planning, and business transformation at the local, regional and international levels. With a strong academic and professional foundation in economics, management, international finance, and strategy, Oral has successfully led the development and delivery of innovative solutions that help businesses start, grow, and prosper. He holds a BSc degree in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies (Mona) in 1987, and gained a MBA degree in International Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Bradford Management Centre, Bradford, United Kingdom, in 1996 from a Chevening Scholarship. He has extensive experience across diverse sectors, economic segments, and regional markets, during which he held several senior level positions in public and private sector organizations. Earlier in his career, he served as a Management Consultant in the firm of Trevor Hamilton and Associates, and provided crucial advise and expertise to dozens of regional and international bilateral and multilateral agencies on several projects designed to facilitate lasting social and economic change. Oral was the Business Development Adviser, assigned to the Caribbean Agricultural and Research Development Institute (CARDI), based in Trinidad, by Commonwealth Secretariat, to assist the Institute to reduce its dependence on regional governments’ contributions through the development and launch of several revenue generating initiatives. He was also an Executive Manager, Finance and Administration at Blue Cross of Jamaica Limited, Director of Corporate Services at the Petroleum Corporation, and Senior Director, MSME, at the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce. He was instrumental in developing policies, innovative programs, and advocating for legislative structures and mechanisms, which contributed to the development of the MSME sector in Jamaica. Oral contributed to the drafting of the 2025 MSME Policy and Strategy, which seeks to empowering SMEs, fostering financial inclusion, facilitating access to fit for purpose financing and promoting sustainability. He participated in several regional and international initiatives that advance financial inclusion, access to finance, sustainable finance, and business development and empowerment.
